MTL5042 TEMPERATURE
CONVERTER
THC or RTD input

The MTL5042 converts a low-level dc signal from a temperature sensor
mounted in a hazardous area into a 4/20mA current for driving a
safe-area load. Software selectable features include linearisation,
ranging, monitoring, testing and tagging for eight thermocouple
types and 2-, 3- or 4-wire RTDs. For thermocouples requiring coldjunction compensation, the HAZ-CJC plug can be ordered with the
product, and includes an integral CJC sensor.

The MTL5042 converts a low-level dc signal from a temperature sensor

安全柵應(yīng)安裝在非危險場所。
安全柵通往現(xiàn)場(危險場所)的軟銅導(dǎo)線截面積必須大于0.5mm²。
連接導(dǎo)線的絕緣強度大于500V。
安全柵本安端(有藍色標記)和非本安端電路配線,不得接錯和混淆。本安導(dǎo)線宜選用藍色作為本安標記。本安導(dǎo)線和非本安導(dǎo)線在匯線槽中應(yīng)分開鋪設(shè),采用各自保護套管。安全柵的本安
側(cè),不允許混淆有其它電源,包括其它本安電路的電源。
安全柵與一次儀表組成本安安全防爆系統(tǒng)時,必須經(jīng)國家指定的防爆檢驗機構(gòu)檢驗認可。PH系列安全柵安全柵由國家防爆電氣監(jiān)督檢驗中心,給出的Co,Lo分布參數(shù)是相對與ⅡC級(氫氣級)
的最大允許值對于ⅡB級環(huán)境可把該參數(shù)乘以3,對于ⅡA級環(huán)境可把該參數(shù)乘以8。傳輸線選用不同規(guī)格的電纜時,其本身的電纜參數(shù)應(yīng)予高度重視,不得超過規(guī)定值。
對安全柵進行單獨通電調(diào)試時,必須注意安全柵的型號、電源極性、電壓等級及安全柵外殼接線端上的標號。
嚴禁用兆歐表測試隔離安全柵端子之間的絕緣性。若要檢查系統(tǒng)線路絕緣性時,應(yīng)先斷開全部安全柵接線,否則會引起內(nèi)部器件損壞。
